What is light
The Light of the Holy Spirit
Precise shape of a photon.
Light has been a source of wonder since antiquity.
Light is one of the most enigmatic and profoundly relevant phenomena in the universe, its duality of nature is a very prominent aspect, for example it can be a wave and a particle, and light by itself is invisible, only the source and its reflection are visible, and is intimately interconnected with time, both past and future.
Starlight spectra is studied to understand the source.
The source defines light and there are two fundamental physical ways of generating photons, incandescent and luminescence. Because the origin of the photons is different, the observable properties of the light are inevitably different, regardless of how closely they are to color temperature or color rendering index.
Incandescent light is the benchmark for colour fidelity because its continuous spectrum covers every visible wavelength, and the ensemble of all photons is maximally entropic meaning each photon’s phase is completely random relative to the others.
One the other hand luminescent light spectrum is a superposition of a handful of emission bands, that may appear as white light but in reality there are real spectral voids where there is literally no light at those frequencies. Also the photon ensemble has a degree of phase coherence because many photons are generated from the same recombination event or from a uniform crystal lattice.
The light from the firmament and the celestial bodies, thunder and fire is of the incandescent nature, on the other hand luminescence occurs in very rare natural phenomena such as in some creatures like the angler fish.
Since the dawn of time we have been exposed to incandescent light sources, yet today we are exposed to luminescent light sources.
The light from the Sun, the Moon and the stars is of the incandescent nature.
Incandescent light is produced by classical energy emitter processes and the movement from low to high frequency and energy states, such as an element that incrementally gains energy until it glows, producing a complete and continuous light spectrum.
Luminescence on the other hand is produced by quantum emitter processes, and from the movement of high to low frequencies, producing a narrow and segregated spectrum.

The discovery of the incandescent light bulb is a continuation of the same kind of light like fire, but now made with electricity. The arrival of luminescent light is a completely different kind of light, and while it does have very good and useful uses it falls very short for others.
Broadband incandescent analog lightwaves emitted through classical mechanics is the light of an electro-incandescent SpectrumView monitor.
Electro-incandesent lightwaves are in a spiral fashion radiating almost equally in all directions
The light of ordinary monitors is 2-D because it comes from a planar emitter source, even with a diffuser, the photon emission is strongly biased.
For example an analogy of the difference would be the difference between fire to a microwave oven, the direction of energy travels from the opposite direction yest the end result is theoretically the same, which is to heat. The end is the same but the means to accomplish it is different, and herein resides the crux of the matter.
“That which comes from the light of nature is of two species: The good one and the evil one.“ ¹
– Theophrastus Paracelsus
Due to the “synthetic” nature of luminescent light to the analog nature of our biology, when over exposed to this kind of light especially through digital screens, it damages the sight and can provoke optic cell degeneration through photochemical reactions,¹ leading ocular damage, ² inhibiting our pineal gland.³ The pineal gland produces neuro-transmitting and neuro-protecting, anti-oxidant hormones such as melatonin, serotonin and pinoline.
“Penetrating red light is possibly the fundamental anti-stress factor for all organisms.”
– Ray Peat
A computer monitor is the interface between the digital realm and our analog biology, light is the medium by which content is conceived and conveyed. Spectrumview handcrafted monitors feature a continuous full-spectrum incandescent light naturally rich in infrared frequencies that regenerate optic cells through a process called photo-biomodulation, reducing ocular tissue inflammation, alleviating photosensitive sight and promoting the formation of new blood vessels and improving blood circulation to the brain, enhancing cognition, focus and memory. ⁴
“The medium is the message.”
– Marshall McLuhan
Luminescent light does has many indispensable and useful necessary applications and properties, such as the digital transmission of information through its light waves, luminescent light is indispensable for digital information transmission in the internet, low cost street and house lighting, and small indicator lights.
“The eye sees the present and the future.”
– Salvador Dali
Light and time are also intimately interwoven and has been widely known in general relativity, and in quantum dynamic processes time is not necessarily one-way like in classical processes, through quantum mechanisms light can travel backwards in time too, this is known as “time-symmetry” and retro-causality is a possibility. Feynman-Wheeler’s delayed-choice experiment and theory proves the retro-casual attributes of the nature of light.
The Spectrum
“The question is not what you look at, but what you see.”
– Henry David Thoreau

Excellent resolution and proportions, suitable for power users, and artistic endeavours.
SpectrumView Starlore 27″ 2560 x 1440 (2K), 100Hz, HDMI, VGA, DisplayPort, 178° viewing angle, VA panel, 8 bit per pixel, semi-glossy finish, external power supply, 120/240V, 70x51x5cm 6.8Kg. It needs a window with direct or indirect sunlight, preferably without shadow casting elements, and a semi permanent setup is recommended. Having a solar-specific monitor means you need to adapt your workspace to the monitor and not the other way around, so rearranging your space will be necessary. Also you need to be able to cover at least 1 meter around the perimeter of the monitor with a cloth or palm mat, so the the light from outside the monitor is less than the inside of inside the monitor, so that the brightest area is that of the inside of the monitor, otherwise it will cause eye strain due to your eyes not being able to properly adjust to the intensity of light, if this setup is not possible this model will not work daylight retro-illuminated properly.
27″ Ports (ports depends on model).
Traditional bee-wax polished wood body makes SpectrumView monitors the Rolls-Royce of monitors.
Straightforward and easy initial setup (15″)
Precision Japanese style woodwork with detachable copper mounts and genuine Indian lac varnish grip.
SpectrumView monitors are built to last, with specially tempered quality wood and components, the lightbox is thermally protected by a sophisticated airflow cooling design system, with genuine brass heat-sink reflectors and high quality fans running at half speed. Traditional natural bee-wax polished body, ceramic sockets, and copper wiring. Strong copper mounts provide unmatched stability and are detachable for a compact transportation or to permanently suspend the monitor in front of a window for day backlight.
The light bulbs used for the lightbox are the same size, base and wattage approved for household appliances such as ovens and fridges, and are not banned since they are not used for general space illumination, The SpectrumView electro-incandescent lightbox is also the ideal cured meat and fruit dehydrator when placed faced down, and can be separately shipped as such. The lightbox can work with both 120V or 240V at the flick of an inner switch without having to change all bulbs, which means you can use 120V bulbs in a 240V country, twice as many replacement bulbs are included, which should last for many years if well treated.
Using only incandescent bulbs at full intensity for the whole day will increase your electricity bill, but if used during winter the equivalent thermal energy will be subtracted from your heating so usage costs, and if daylit during the summer the electricity usage will not rise in total.
